The weather this week hasn’t been great for cycling, really, what with the miserable rain and forecasted snow. But today it was merely cloudy, and although the clouds hung heavy in the sky, they never released their burden of precipitation. So Aaron, his friend Yuhui (whom I’d met at Sciences-Po in Le Havre three years ago) and I went for a ride down the Schuylkill. We were all riding different bikes, and so I split from them fairly early on, also to not be the third (set of) wheels.
I’d hoped to cover more than the 64km I did, but we left a little too late so there wasn’t quite enough daylight and I didn’t want to cycle in the dark. Oh well, I guess this week will go down as another incomplete training week. Good thing I planned for lots of those when designing my training plan.
